Look great and feel great without spending hours in the mirror. Go from subtle to defined and understated to glamorous. Nouveau semi-permanent makeup enhances your eyebrows, eyelashes and lips, providing lasting results. Saving you time on your daily beauty routine.

Since 2009, I have been running a beauty business in Essex, constantly researching and training to improve my skills and service for my clients.
I learned the techniques and skill of performing semi-permanent makeup with the prestigious Nouveau Contour Academy, an elite training facility and industry leader.

It’s taken hard work, skill and continuous training to build my reputation as an elite semi-permanent makeup artist but it’s paid off, as I have had the privilege of creating brows on high profile individuals and being featured in magazines. I am one of the very few, fully elite, trained technicians in the Essex region that’s certified by the local authority.

I use only Nouveau approved products and needles to make sure each treatment achieves the best results possible. I’m a perfectionist and always book enough time to create the treatment of your dreams.

Take a look at the treatment before and after pictures and be
sure you’re ready. Remember, this is semi-permanent make up
and it is on your face.

Pencil them in
If you’re not used to pencilling your eyebrows in, I suggest you
start doing this a week before treatment so that you get used to
more colour on your brows.

Day 1
(Straight after treatment)
“Wow! I’m in love with my new brows.”

Day 2 – 4
(Pigment is settling)
“Hmm this colour is really dark.”

Day 5 – 7
(Healing process)
“Oh no! My brows are scabbing and falling off!”

Day 8 – 10
(Healing process – scabbing has fallen away)
“Hold on! My brows have faded and it’s only been a week or so!”

Day 14 – 21
(Skin is settling with pigment – top up required after 6 weeks, when fully healed)
“Hooray! my brows are coming back. They still look a bit patchy and uneven though.”

Day 42
(Post top up)
“They look so beautiful after my top up. I love them!”

  1. Questions
I will explain the treatment process – this is your chance to ask
    me any questions.
  2. Photos
I’ll take some before photos so that you can see the comparison
  3. Drawing the shape
I’ll use a cosmetic pencil to draw your eyebrow shape to suit
your brow bone and eye area to create the perfect brows for
    your face.
  4. Choosing the colour
Using a wide range of colours, I’ll test these on your skin and we
can choose a good colour for you. I usually suggest going for a
lighter option the first session to give you a chance to get used
    to the colour.
  5. Treatment starts
Once we are happy with the colour and shape, we will start the
treatment. Numbing cream is used to make you comfortable
during treatment. The treatment will take around 90 minutes. I
always allow plenty of time to create the perfect brows.
  • No recovery time is necessary. Red skin and soreness will last around 30 minutes.
  • Keep the area dry for 24 hours.
  • Then minimal water for 7 days.
  • Do not pick the scabs as this will interfere with the healing
  • Once all of the scabbing has healed you can powder in the
gaps to balance them until your second appointment.

My prices are set. I don’t compete with other brow artists for business and my prices reflect the expert level of work and quality of equipment I use for brow creation. If you’ve found someone who does brows cheaper and wish to use them, I wish you all the best, but please do your research.

The treatment involves a needle scratching your skin to embed the pigment which can feel a little uncomfortable but I use a numbing agent to minimise the pain as much as possible. Normally it feels more uncomfortable at the start but once the numbing agent takes effect, you shouldn’t feel much.

There are a lot of factors that impact this. It is advisable that you don’t drink alcohol 24 hours before treatment and don’t take asprin as these can thin the blood and make bleeding more likely. Bleeding can occur due to the needle scratching the skin, but if so, it’s usually minimal.

Absolutely not! My work is all about working with what you already have and creating as natural a look as possible. I’ve created brows where there is very little or no hair before but I only shape what you have with a little tweezing and threading.

This depends on many factors such as; your skin type, age and how well you follow the aftercare instructions. Follow the aftercare tips on the best ways to look after them which will make them last as long as possible. All brows start off dark because the pigment and scabbing is fresh – they will look more natural once healed. Brows require regular top ups to keep them looking fresh and it’s the nature of the pigment to fade over time – that’s why it’s semi-permanent makeup.

Healing normally takes up to 6 weeks but the scabbing and itchiness has normally gone within a couple of weeks. This does depend on your skin, lifestyle and how well you care for your brows so it’s not an exact science.

Avoid putting things like powder and foundation on or around your brows for at least 7 days after treatment. If you don’t follow this advice you increase the chances of an uncomfortable infection.

We need to wait until your brows are fully healed to do anything about this. The chances are it’ll be ok and I’ll do everything I can at your top up to make sure you have perfect brows.

Don’t panic, this is totally normal and a part of the healing process – it’s the healed scab falling away to reveal the end results underneath.
